We caught up with Benaiah Matheson to ask how his experience with Studio Dais has helped him realise his brand mission, as well as getting to understand his timeless approach to fashion, art and life. We created a limited run of enamel pins for Benaiah recently and we were keen to see how they have been received.

Benaiah Matheson Enamel Pins n Tings
How is business in your sector and what are you currently working on that you can’t wait to share?
I don’t know how to answer the 1st part of that question because I’ve never really understood what sector to place myself in. Today I feel connected to the reason I started the brand and being honest to that original feeling/concept seems to be more engaging which was/is the goal/direction.
Regarding exciting news to share; I’ve always tried to be environmentally conscious with the brand, whether that’s using local or UK based services and skills whenever possible but, this area is growing conceptually. Physically what does this is mean? It means manufacturing locally, sourcing more environmentally friendly textiles, being more savvy with textiles in general and playing within those realms. The next collection will enthuse these beliefs and concepts in very literal manor and I’m excited to show the process & vision.
How have your items from studio dais been used to help your business?
Well the Benaiah Matheson soft enamel pins haven’t been used yet, but they are key to the development of my new collection. The quality and detail is exactly what i was looking for.
Any wise words of wisdom to pass on to our other customers?
BƎ YOU ALWAYS. Hold yourself accountable, remember that we are all fallible and work hard on that reflection.
