CLIENT FOCUS: THE WOODS CO-OP. CBD SOFT ENAMEL KEYRINGS.

A partnership between Woods Co-op and Studio Dais has been growing for some time now. We first worked for George who is the founder of Woods Co-op in 2019 when George got in touch for a range of custom made woven patches and since then Studio Dais has been the go to custom made producer for all of Wood’s custom merchandise. George recently got back in touch to do a rerun on two CBD soft enamel keyrings based around CBD, hemp and health we worked on last year. In this article we thought we would touch base with business at Woods Co-op and delve a little deeper into the world of CBD and other interesting worldly health and immune system boosters. Let’s go!

Introduction to CBD + Woods Co-op

What even is CBD you ask? CBD is an acronym for Cannabidiol and as one of the many but most active cannabinoids present in marijuana and hemp, though mostly in hemp. It is not to be confused with tetrahydrocannabinol, aka THC, the active psychoactive cannabinoid known to get you ‘high’. The misunderstanding between THC and CBD has been one of CBD’s biggest barriers to mass adoption. Although as of right now, CBD has never been so widely accepted as an ‘alternative medicine’ and it’s medical, therapeutic and healing powers are  finally becoming accepted within the professional medical community.

Commitment to CBD + CBG Purity!

One thing to note with The Woods Co-op’s CBD and CBG products is their commitment to purity. Their CBD and CBG are some of the most prized in the world and you only have to understand how they refine their CBD and CBG into product form.

Partial Decarboxylation

Partial decarboxylation allows for some of the CBDa to be converted to active CBD (adding further to naturally occurring CBD).

MCT OIL

MCT oil is used to carry the CBD from extraction to the bottle. To put this simply, MCT oil allow for a greater concentration of CBD to be absorbed into the bloodstream so you can reap benefits most efficiently and quickly.

De-waxing

To go one step further and allow for a more “liquid” product, the oil is also de-waxed. Oils with higher concentrations of CBD must be de-waxed to be “liquid”. This is the only filtration process we use. Keeping processing to a minimum allows the bioactive compounds in our 10% Oil to be as close to their natural make-up as possible.

Woods Co-op were keen to get their message across to the masses early on, that CBD and CBG were here to solve big health problems! We had lengthy discussions with The Woods Co-op about their options for unique custom merchandise. Custom made enamel coins were considered but deemed to be a little less used than some other products. A year earlier we had already created a run of custom woven patches for Woods Co-op, and these were still circulating in the local community and further afield adorned on hats, coats and bags.

Something New

We needed something new. Our custom made soft enamel keyrings seemed like the perfect fit. They were highly practical (used every day), highly customizable and well within the budget range. Being soft enamel, they also allowed for a little more detail to be retained (due to the absence of sanding and polishing into hard enamel – find out more here).

Custom CBD Soft Enamel Keyrings

The Woods Co-op is definitely more of a creative canvas for owner George. They have their core product offerings of CBD and CBG products, but over the last two years George has experimented in other whole, healthy lifestyle products and foods to accompany his CBD range. On top of this they have collaborated with various artists and musicians and with music in mind, George was keen to base one of his keyring designs on one of his musical tastes, Hip Hop.

CBD Growth and Vitality

The first keying is based around The Woods Co-op’s crest design which neatly fits in all of their core information. It’s a simple round design with a plant growing in the centre which really personifies the brand. Promoting growth and vitality.

Run DMC vs Run CBD Soft Enamel Keyrings

The second design is a play on one of hip hop’s greatest acts, Run DMC. This logo has been ‘done to death’ but we have not seen a CBD version of it before, it was a great choice as the first lot of Run CBD keyrings sold out fast!

Both keyrings are the perfect size of 40mm, perfect for being placed in the pocket. They feature a simple jump split ring attachment as well as a clean nickel plating to make them pop.
