Client Focus: Xian Stewart. Custom Hard Enamel Pin Badges.

Normally we give five set questions to our featured clients to answer, but for this, Xian Stewart wanted to add a more personal touch to his Client Focus. Below are his own words which describe his craft and his life. We recently worked with Xian on a run of limited edition gold plated hard enamel pin badges, and from reading his words it is apparent that all boxes were ticked from the first email, art working to the delivery of the pins!

I’m someone who has a passion for personal and high quality bespoke items and services and the Studio Dais philosophy stood out to me.

Custom Hard Enamel Pins

As a creative individual and written communicator, I’d been signing off on letters and creative projects with a monogram-like signature for a while (featured on my custom pins), and the UK lockdown allowed me the time I needed to have it fully designed and produced as the basis of an overarching personal brand for all of my (often too many!) projects.

I’ve always loved classy and timeless pieces, and a flush gold and black custom enamel monogram pin badge ticked all the boxes. The experienced designers at Studio Dais helped me make that a reality, and the end product was a beautiful custom pin badge that can bring a bit of personality to any outfit. They truly went above and beyond!

Philosophy & Dedication

It’s been great working with Studio Dais, and a pleasure to be reminded that even while we’re all apart, a strong philosophy and dedication to a craft only ever leads to great things being made! In my case, the custom hard enamel pins in gold plating!

The Studio Dais Philosophy

During our follow up conversation with Xian, after he received his custom enamel pins, he said he really liked the Studio Dais philosophy. Intrigued to hear what he saw, we asked him to elaborate.

When I came across your website I saw a group of people who wanted to bring together communities, and had the passion for and experience in their craft that meant they knew what would work for a client instinctively – that showed through in the suggested alterations in the art working stage which made the piece EXACTLY how I had envisioned them.

Studio Dais looked like they wanted to do things the right way, which means they provided a service as equally as they created the product. I brought what I had, and Studio Dais brought what they know, of how to make it a reality!

The word DAIS actually means ‘raised platform, and it’s interesting that Xian picked up on this. Studio Dais is that platform to help young bedroom creative to larger global corporations to raise their design bar higher than ever before. Empathic is too strong a word to self describe ourselves, but it’s built in our DNA. We give Xian just as much care for his limited run of 50 hard enamel pin badges as we would with our bigger clients like VANS Shoes and BBC.
