They can be die-stuck or die-cast in any shape or size and with any design on them. Die-cast are generally flat in appearance whilst die-cast, aka 3D, can be raised in appearance. They can be single sided or double sided, and with enamel on either one or both sides. They are effectively like custom medals, just with no ribbon loop attached.

They can be made from brass or zinc alloy and plated in over 21 different plating options such as silver, gold, copper, nickel and variations of these like ‘antique’.
