Client Focus: Bassment x Benaiah Matheson Collab Soft Enamel Pin Pop Up Shop.

Collaborations are fun things, putting two otherwise contrasting parts together and seeing what comes out, often bringing out the unpredictable in all parties. A recent collaboration between our clients Benaiah Matheson and Bassment Recording Studio, both based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, proved to be a big hit with their one day pop up shop. We were excited to work on this one with them!

Custom Soft Enamel Pins

The custom pins came out great, switching the record grooves in place of Benaiah’s logo. Such a simple and elegant idea! The red enamel fill is a Pantone reference code matched to Benaiah’s trademarked red, with a black dye badge base, finished as soft enamel and metal clutch. The custom pins were a joint venture to be released at a pop up store in Huddersfield, UK, with Bassment and Benaiah both bringing their skills.

The Pop Up Shop

The pop up Shop was blastin’ from 11am through to 11pm with Bassment founders showing their love for underground music through the day. All supported by a xxxx watt sound system and upside down banners.

A somewhat rare but growing phenomenon of councils giving empty shop units to local artists, small independent businesses as well as community based projects, with thanks to Kirklees Council for the privilege on this one.

Benaiah Matheson – Clothing and Lifestyle

Benaiah Matheson has been creating for a long time. He has established himself as a consistent designer with a solid foundation in his work. He is currently on his 10^th collection with a lot planned for 2020.
