Client Focus. Clemie Bee. Cactus Custom Soft Enamel Pins.

Here at Studio Dais we look forward to receiving emails and orders from a wide spectrum of clients, from larger organisations like VANS shoes, to more independent artists like Abbie who with her creative family run Clemmie Bee. Abbie  and family were new to pin making, and reached out to Studio Dais to help her manufacture their custom soft enamel pins. Their initial design looked great, but as you will see, there are a few limitations in enamel pin making that needed to be adhered to. We put their design through our tried and tested art working process and by the first draft we had the green light!

The Interview

Who are you and where are you currently based?

We are Clemmie Bee and we are based in North Yorkshire, UK.

Tell us about your brand?

We are a family (Mum, Dad and two teenagers) that are using our different skills to design acrylic jewellery and custom enamel pins. We have had the time during lockdown to work on our ideas and finally start to bring our unique designs to life.

How have your custom soft enamel pins from Studio Dais been used to help your business?

Abbie (mum) is part of the sewing community on Instagram. Her hobby in particular is dressmaking. So she thought that sewing themed enamel pins would appeal to other crafters on Instagram. Introducing the custom pins on Instagram has directed a lot of people to our Etsy store over time.

How was it working with Studio Dais?

Studio Dais have been fantastic every step of the way. To add, we are completely new to this enamel pin business but Studio Dais have helped with all of our queries and even altered the final artwork we sent to make them more “pin friendly”.

Any wise words of wisdom to pass on to our readers?

Custom enamel pins aren’t just for artists or big brands. Anyone can create brilliant pins with help from Studio Dais. If you have an idea for a design, give it a go. Seeing your design come to life is a fantastic feeling!
