Custom Woven Patches

Simply put, custom woven patches are more detailed, a lot more detailed! The threads are ‘woven’ together, and do not require a twill (like embroidered patches). Due to the nature of production, we are able to include more threads per inch, which means finer details such as lettering and line weights.

Woven patches are also cheaper than custom embroidered patches, due to a simpler process being used to create them. Woven patches are suited just about anyone wanting a high quality looking patch with immense detail. Custom Embroidered Patches

Embroidered patches certainly have their place in the patch world! They outdate woven patches by quite some time, going as far back as the 1800s for military and other public service organisations. But even as far back to Ancient China and Rome!

Embroidered patches are made by stitching threads onto a fabric twill, and through this process, they tend to have less detail than woven patches. They also have a more textured appearance, overall looking a little more ‘traditional’ and ‘authentic’.
